STAR OF THE SOLD OUT ‘PEPPA PIG’S BIG SPLASH’- CANDICE MOLL

Peppa Pig Live hits the USA! Candice Moll, one of the many talented Aussie entertainers who now lives in Los Angeles, is starring in the American touring show of “Peppa Pig’s Big Splash”. She plays the new lead character, Daisy, who is the only human in the terrifically popular show that features…um…pigs. Yes, pigs, that’s what I said. And Peppa Pig, the iconic TV show, which the live show is based on, is one of the most popular kids shows on Nickelodeon right now.

“Peppa Pig’s Big Splash,” starring Candice Moll, is selling out all over the United States. The show sold out at the Microsoft Theatre in L.A., (14,000 tickets sold in one day!) and at the famous Ryman Theatre in Nashville, Tennessee, which was the original home of the legendary Grand Ole Opry. The show sells out everywhere it goes and Candice and her fellow actors receive standing ovations and great reviews in every town. The run will finish on April 9th and 10th at the beautiful Beacon Theatre - on Broadway in New York City.

Candice is a very talented woman who has been acting and singing professionally since she was 17. She has played a full range of roles, from the energetically happy childrens entertainer to the headstrong political reporter. She loves them all. She also acted and sang her way through the top rating, international children’s TV show “The Fairies.” She played the lead character Harmony through 3 seasons of filming and seven Australian national tours. Her talents don’t stop at performing either, she wrote numerous episodes of “The Fairies” and they are still playing around the world on networks including Nick Jr. in the UK, The Seven Network Australia and on Amazon video in the U.S.

Daisy, her current acting role in Peppa Pig’s Big Splash, is the character that drives the show. Daisy was created for the stage production of Peppa Pig to push the story forward and handle all the audience interaction with singing, dancing and playing with Peppa and her family and friends. When the Peppa run is over, Candice will return to Los Angeles and get back into the audition circuit for stage and movie parts along with voice overs, which she is great at, by the way. That’s what actors do, she says. They just get back into the game as fast as they can. A career in the entertainment business is really hard, though, she admits. She half jokingly suggests that if something else makes you happy – go do that! But of course, if you love performing more than anything, jump in 100% with no hesitation and just do it with full commitment!
