Janvi Ghatalia shows true talent and comfort when designing clothes. She says that this has always been her passion for as long as she can remember.  We followed up to see what Janvi has been doing in the past few years as a designer and to our pleasant surprise she has accomplished so much more that we than we have seen any designer of her age and background achieve.

After making her move to New York, Janvi has jumped head first into the fashion world. She helped style and design celebrities like Kaley Cuoco, Kate Hudson, Kat Graham, Aishwarya Rai and first daughter Sasha Obama at Naeem Khan. For most people, having the pleasure of doing with that would be the finish line of their career, but not for Janvi, this was just the beginning of her career.

She shortly started at Hanley, where she transformed the essential fashion looks by creating key item pieces for each collection that is still being used by the brand, much after she left the company.

Her key looks for Hanley were even featured in the hit HBO TV show ‘Girls’. At Hanley, Janvi made a button placket that is now a placket that is become a staple for every collection. Ms. Ghatalia also exclusively designed tote bags for Hanley that have made great sales and have become indispensible to the company.
Janvi Ghatalia has a unique and trendy style that has been translating into her work in the fashion industry. We can see her climbing up the ladder of success with great drive and passion.
